If your wiring is more than 25 to 30 years old, or you still have a fuse box with pull-out fuses, it’s worth having it looked at. Modern consumer units have RCDs that cut the power in a split second if something goes wrong, which protects you from electric shocks and fires.

How a rewire runs

1. We test what you have and give you a fixed written price, with no surprises later.
2. We agree a room-by-room plan so you’re never without power overnight.
3. Cables go in, the new consumer unit goes on, and everything is tested.
4. We notify Building Control and email you the certificate.
