An EICR is like an MOT for your electrics. We test every circuit, check the fuse board and look for wear, damage and anything that no longer meets today’s safety standards. You get a clear report showing what’s fine and what needs attention.

Common questions
How often should I have one?+
We recommend every 10 years for a home you own, every 5 years for rented homes (it's a legal requirement for landlords in England), and more often for holiday lets with lots of guests.
What do the codes on the report mean?+
C1 means dangerous, fix now. C2 means potentially dangerous, fix soon. C3 means improvement recommended. FI means it needs further investigation. We'll talk you through each one.
